Albany Passes Budget

Smithtown Central School District will see a slight improvement as New York State aid will be reduced by $3.4 million rather than the expected $5.5 million the district has been considering. This means a real change in aid to the district by -8.9%. State aid information in the published version of Governor Cuomo's budget is not yet correct.
